Our Philosophy
PM understands that members and donors must perceive material and psychological benefits of value equal to, or greater than, the contributions they give. We stress recognition for supporters, and strive to give them a psychological “stake” in the future well-being of our clients’ efforts. In this way we not only achieve short-term fundraising goals, but set the stage for long-term success by creating continuity for the donor and developing partnership relationships whereby the donor gains an “ownership” stake in the organization. In undertaking a new fundraising project, one of our primary goals is to understand and to help refine the range of psychological as well as tangible benefits that are available to an organization’s donors. We strive to understand not only the long-term goals of our clients, but their day-to-day operations as well. We encourage input into the fundraising operation by client staff at all levels. We seek to go beyond the traditional vendor/client relationship by creating marketing programs that blend institutional client knowledge and history with our own experience and expertise. |
